Rapper the Subject of ”DMC: Walk This Way”
As one third of hip hop’s most iconic group, Darryl “DMC” McDaniels has led an interesting life. Add that to his adoption journey and it makes for compelling entertainment; and artist/author Justin BUA has announced that the rapper will be the subject of first documentary “DMC: Walk This Way.” The film follows DMC’s history from his adoption as a child, his teen years in Queens and success with Run-D.M.C., struggles with alcoholism and his ongoing vocal problems. Run-D.M.C. officially disbanded in 2002, following the murder of DJ Jam Master Jay. Rappers and DJs who appear in the film include Ice-T, Eminem, MC Lyte, Melle Mel, Grandmaster Caz, Mix Master Mike, Z-Trip and others. |
